[origin: EP0808970A2] Cylinder lock comprises: (a) a cylindrical housing (1), in which an opening (15) leads into one of the sides of the housing with a key channel (3) running in the longitudinal direction with a core (2). A flat key can be used in the key channel (3); (b) several rows of housing pegs (9-13) and core pegs (4-8) forming holders; and (c) a sliding bolt (21) driven by the core (2). The lock is arranged in an opening of an object to be secured and secured there. The novelty is that a supporting disk (16) is arranged in the opening (15) to radially reinforce this part of the inner cylindrical housing section (14). The section (14) is provided with a tangentially running surface (42) extending longitudinally to the housing (1) in the region of the disk (16) on its outer side. The surface (42) is secured to the sliding bolt (21) and gives a defined distortion, distortion direction, and support for the bolt (21).
