Abstract (en)
The power limiting method involves forming an adjustable voltage. An information signal formed by a temperature measurement is used to generate a control voltage. This maintains a constant supply voltage so long as the temperature remains at a given level. The supply voltage is decreased in proportion to a rise in temperature beyond the threshold. Two temperature thresholds, each corresponding to an amount of difference in reduction of supply voltage are used. Successive variations in supply voltage are created in response to a clock in one direction or another depending upon whether the threshold is exceeded or not.
Abstract (fr)
<IMAGE>
