Abstract (en)
A coin checking system has a closed housing with an entry point at the top for coins (5). The housing has a main body and a cover (14) that is hinged along one edge (13). Internally, the coins are directed along guide tracks and pass through sensing stations that are located behind the cover section. A limit switch signals that the cover is correctly closed. The lower section of the housing has delivery points for coins from a track (7) and the cover has a push button that is operated to open the cover to free any jamming situation.

Es wird ein Münzprüfer zum Erkennen und Überprüfen von Münzen und münzähnlichen Gegenständen mit einem aus einem Grundkörper, einer Klappe und einem abdekkenden Wandteil bestehenden Gehäuse, in dem ein mit einem Münzeinwurf verbundener Münzlaufkanal und eine an diesen anschließende Münzfallstrecke vorgesehen sind, vorgeschlagen. Der Münzlaufkanal und die Münzfallstrecke sind durch die über ein Scharnier angelenkte Klappe und das abdeckende Wandteil abgedeckt. Die Klappe und der die Münzfallstrecke abdeckende Wandteil des Gehäuses sind miteinander verbunden und bilden ein einstückiges Klappenteil. Es ist ein Betätigungselement zum Abklappen des Klappenteils vom Grundkörper vorgesehen, das von außen betätigbar ist. <IMAGE>
