The socket has a casing (2) containing a carrier (5) for the flat strip contacts (11) and a protective contact rail (17). The strips (13,15) have spring clip portions (20) formed in the longitudinal direction with three additional spring sections (23). Retaining and supporting areas (9) of the carrier hold the strips resiliently in the region of the spring clips. These are formed by rolling and/or bending of the strips to produce curves and/or openings and/or rounded polygonal structures, with their centres located at the vertices of an approximately equilateral triangle.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Mehrfachsteckdose mit einem Gehäuse (2) und einer Trägeranordnung (5), welche zusammen mit Kontaktschienen (11) und Kontaktbuchsen sowie einer Schutzkontaktschiene(17) und Schutzkontakten (19) in das Gehäuse einschiebbar oder einsetzbar ist. Zur rationellen Fertigung und zur Verbesserung der Kontaktverbindungen sind die Kontaktschienen als Flachbänder (13,15) mit Federkontaktbuchsen (20,40) und Federbereichen (23,43) ausgebildet, welche an Halte- und Stützbereichen der Trägeranordnung fixierbar und zusammen mit einer gleichfalls vorpositionierten Schutzkontaktschiene stirnseitig in das Gehäuse einschiebbar sind. Eine besonders vorteilhafte Fertigung wird mit einem einteiligen Gehäuse und einer Schutzkontaktschiene mit über Präge- oder Clinchverbindung fixierten Schutzkontaktbügeln erreicht. <IMAGE>
