[origin: DE19505143A1] The invention relates to a chisel holder with a chisel recess in the form of a drilling into which a tang of a chisel is inserted, said tang's having a groove into which a safety device can be inserted and is supported against the chisel holder. The safety device can be controllably released from the chisel tang if the safety device has at least one tool recess into which at least one of several active components of a tool can be inserted and the active components are positively supported in the tool recess.
