The mobile identification card (11) also contains, in addition to the storage unit, a real-time clock (17), an input unit (14), an evaluation unit (12) and a display unit (18). The identification sensor (23) is a simple terminal device provided with encoding such as an encoding plug or a semiconductor memory with a code. It can be simply installed decentrally and independently of a network at any number of locations. The encoding represents the location and/or type of activity. Connection of an identification card (11) to an identification sensor (23) and simultaneous pressing of particular input keys activates programs in the identification card which capture, store and interconnect data, perform evaluations and carry out displays.
