Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0810175A2] The cylinder has product grab units. Each unit has a control cam (22), a shaft with product grab elements and a cam roller (19). The cam roller is connected to a torsion bar (20). There is a pre-tension element (28), to apply a torque pre-tension to the bar. The torque maintains the cam roller in contact with the control cam. A mechanism (28) for precise adjustment and to maintain the torque pre-tension on the torsion bar, is positioned on the operator-sided end of the cylinder (11).
