Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0810309A1] An assembly for processing fibre materials comprises a filling shaft for a carding station having a leading section to take flocking from a flocking feed, and a following section to deliver a lap to the carding appts. A fibre cleaning system is between the two filling shaft sections. The fibre cleaning system is structured for flocking which have not previously been passed through a cleaning stage with a nip feed. Also claimed is an operation where flocking are fed into the shaft without a prior cleaning process with a nip feed.
