Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0810320A2] A process for the production of resist or multicolour effects on natural or synthetic polyamide fibre materials is claimed, in which, before or after treatment with a dye bath or printing paste containing anionic dyes, the textile is subjected (for resist effects) to local treatment, wet-on-wet, with a liquid preparation containing compound(s) of formula (I), in which R1 = 10-24C alkyl or alkenyl; R2, R3 = 1-4C alkyl; X = anion; A = optionally substituted benzene ring. To obtain multicolour effects, the textile is treated with similar liquid preparation(s) containing anionic dye(s) in addition to (1). The dye is then fixed by heat treatment.
