[origin: EP0810328A2] The brace stop consists of pairs of opposite vertical supports (1) with slide guides (3) for sheeting panels, and at least one stop (10) for a brace. The stop is vertically movable, and has a brake device (13-20), which engages on the support. Alternately, the brake device may be located on the support. The brake device is formed so that it locks due to the load applied by the vertically downward acting weight of the brace, and is released when the weight is lifted. It consists of pairs of movably connected opposite contact pressure bodies (16,18), with contact faces engaging on opposite sides of a support.
