[origin: EP0811327A1] The thrust components (14,23) are arranged on a common thruster carrier (16,24) provided with drive and guide devices (17,18,26,27). The thruster components formed as suction thruster and push thruster, undertaking the transfer of the cigarette blocks or their removal, have a lift platform (22,31) arranged between conveyor belts (21,30). The lift platform provided for the push thrusters is formed as a collecting station for the cigarette blocks. The lift platform has self-controlling distance holders, over which the cigarette blocks travel. The distance holders are formed as rockers, which incorporate a pressure lever (43) activated by a precipitate cigarette blocks and a stop (44) which blocks a pursuing cigarette block.
