Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0811735A1] The device consists of a funnel-shaped water collection body (6) with a plug-on element (15). The funnel is inserted into a corresponding aperture in the roof (4) via an intermediate vapour barrier (10) and a seal (14) between funnel and barrier. The seal prevents penetration of dammed-up water into the roof (1), and formation of condensation in the heat insulation area of the roof, and also locks the funnel in the roof aperture. The seal has a spring steel ring. The ring engages sealing into a corresponding groove, which is pref. located in the outer surface of the funnel. The steel ring or seal may be barb-shaped, and pref. act with a locking element on the funnel outside. The vapour barrier is mainly L-shaped, and has a rectangular groove for the seal.
