Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0811737A2] The lock has a keyway with sensing tags (10) to follow slots in the sides of the key. A control slider (11) is displaced by the key and has control holes (14) facing a locking catch (18) which locks the cylinder into the outer housing (1). This prevents forcing of the cylinder. The outer catch has a large profile (18) held into the locking position by a spring loaded sensing catch (17) whose inward facing end monitors the position of the slider. If the slider is not in the correct release position the security catch remains locked into the outer housing.
