[origin: EP0811803A2] The component has at least one fluid feed channel (13,14) with parallel sections (13) and fluid inlet and outlet. The parallel sections of the channel run crossways to the component longitudinal direction and crossways to the combustible material conveyor direction. The channel sections run in a straight line and have a cross-section determining a compact, dead space-free flow. Two straight-line channel sections are joined by a linkage (14) and thus fluid flows through them in rows. The fluid inflow (15) is provided in the area of the fixture and drive end (5) and the fluid outflow (16) in the head area (7) of the grill component (1,2). All channel sections have a common fluid inlet and a common fluid outlet, with the fluid flowing through in a parallel manner.
