[origin: DE19506789C1] The invention concerns a finger-mounted toothbrush which comprises a fingerstall-like cap part (3) which can be placed on a finger (2), bears an action surface (15) provided with cleaning elements (16) and also has a holding part (4) guided along the inner side of the finger. The invention is characterized in that the holding part secured to the resilient cap part (3) is a resiliently elastic shaft (4) which, in the mounted state, extends substantially to the centre of the palm of the hand. Consequently, during use, the finger-mounted toothbrush is held firmly on the index finger, always with a given degree of tension, by the thumb in particular, and fitting and removal are also facilitated.
