Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9724293A1] Described is a method of removing emulsified resins and tars from the liquor circulating in wet-scrubbing and wet electrostatic precipitation plants for waste gases arising in the wood-processing industry. Measured quantities of wood dust are introduced into the circulating water to absorb the emulsified resins and tars, and the wood dust is then removed again from the water circuit and allowed to settle out.
