Abstract (en)
The die consists of a housing (1) with an axial hole, a core (8) with an opening (11) for the component undergoing cold forming, and a sleeve (5). The core is arranged in the hole of the housing in such a way that a slightly conical annular space is left between core and the surface of this hole. The sleeve (5) capable of substantially filling the entire annular space is forced into the latter. The hole of the housing (1) is slightly conical. The outside of the core (8) is cylindrical. The sleeve (5) has a slit running over its entire length. The core is formed by several parts (9, 10) arranged one after another. One of such parts, which can be made of different materials, serves for formation of the head of a fastening element, for example.

Eine Matrize zum Kaltverformen von Gegenständen, insbesondere Befestigungselementen, enthält eine Fassung (1) mit einer schwach kegelförmigen Innenöffnung (3). In der Innenöffnung (3) werden durch eine leicht kegelförmige geschlitzte Büchse (5) Kernelemente (8,9,10) verpreßt, die vorzugsweise aus Hartmetall bestehen. Aufgrund des Einpressens durch eine geschlitzte Büchse (5) entsteht einerseits eine Vorspannung für die Kerne, andererseits können diese durch Herauspressen der Büchse (5) auch wieder ausgetauscht werden. <IMAGE>
