[origin: EP0812784A1] The plug (11) of the valve comprises two or more flat sections (117-122). Adjacent sections have a fold line (111-116) between them, and a mechanism (13) folds and unfolds them. In the unfolded state of the plug there can be six fold lines radiating from the centre (123), forming two opposite 90 degrees segments and 45 degree ones. It can be in one piece, and the fold lines can be formed by fold lines thinner than the sections. In the unfolded state the plug can be circular, and it can be of plastic or sheet-metal.
