Abstract (en)
A bollard consists of a hollow housing (1) which is fixed to the ground and contains one of more litter bins (4) which are open at the top and have a volume of between 30 and 100 litres. Each bin is located partially underground, with the remainder inside a superstructure (7) set above the ground. The superstructure has holes in the top for depositing litter and one or more opening panels (10) for removing or replacing the bins. The base (5) of the bollard has a cavity (13) which is open at the top to connect with the interior of the superstructure, while each bin has a bottom end (4a) which fits into the cavity below ground level. The base (5) is waterproof and its upper edge (5a) projects some 5cm above the ground. Each opening panel (10) covers an aperture in the wall of the bollard which allows sideways removal and replacement of the bin(s).

Il s'agit d'une borne de propreté urbaine (2) comprenant un coffre doté (3) d'une ouverture supérieure (9) de réception des déchets et contenant une corbeille (4) unique ouverte vers le haut qui présente un volume intérieur compris entre 30 et 100 litres. Le coffre comprend un socle creux (5) et étanche partiellement enterré qui présente un bord supérieur périphérique situé à une hauteur supérieure à 5 cm au-dessus du sol, ce socle recevant le fond de la corbeille qui est ainsi situé au-dessous du niveau du sol. Cette borne de propreté peut contenir un volume de déchets convenable tout en présentant un encombrement réduit, ce qui permet le cas échéant de juxtaposer plusieurs bornes de propreté sans pour autant encombrer la voie publique. <IMAGE>
