[origin: EP0812966A2] The fitting has a cylindrical moulding (12), in order to engage in a casing (6) which has a fastening flange (7) and a drain nozzle (8). The moulding is supported on the upper edge of the floor opening (2) of a shower basin, by an edge flange (13) and a sealing ring (14). A fastening screw (16) can be screwed into the casing through an opening in an upper sleeve-like part of the moulding, whose base (15) is connected to the cup (21) of an odour trap. The moulding also has a drain opening (19) on its curved outer surface, which opens into the nozzle.
