Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Befüllen einer Druckgasflasche mit Ethen. Um das Ethen ohne Verdampfereinrichtung entnehmen zu können enthält sie eine poröse Masse und wahlweise ein Lösungsmittel. Sie ist bevorzugt als Acetylenflasche ausgebildet.
