[origin: EP0813171A2] The interface is in the form of an electronic chip card with a processor and a memory unit. The interface card is suitable for making a connection in a contactless reading process with a stationary receiver/transmitter station via a coil. The user outputs commands to the stationary receiving station via an operating device on the chip card. The operating device may be e.g. a keyboard and/or a voice input. The chip card may have a display. The chip card may include other functions e.g. emergency call, electronic purse, pocket calculator, calendar etc. The authorisation of the user may be checked by inputting a code.
