[origin: WO9725004A1] A composite natural tissue heart valve prosthesis comprising a tri-composite valve (301) which may be mounted in a cloth-covered, generally anatomical stent (319) is disclosed. The prosthesis includes three adjacent tanned heart valve leaflets (302, 304, 306) of generally similar size, shape and symmetry that are attached to adjacent leaflets along their respective valve wall side edges (308, 310, 312) such that there is substantial caption between the cusps (309, 311, 313).
