[origin: WO9628254A1] The present invention relates to a method of producing microbubbles in a dispersion water nozzle to be used in connection with dissolved air flotation (DAF), in which method a water flow entering the dispersion water nozzle and containing gas which has dissolved under pressure, such as e.g. air, CO2, N2, O2, or the like, is treated, and the throttle means of which dispersion water nozzle has at least two sections. The invention also relates to an apparatus for implementing the method.
