Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9627718A1] The invention concerns a support device (10) for a load-bearing roofing tile (12) which is disposed in a first row (14) and rests on a first roof batten (16) in the region of its ridge-side end section. The support device (10) can be laid in the ridge-eaves direction and placed, at the ridge end, on a roof batten and, at the eaves end, on at least one covered roofing tile. In order to provide a support device which, even in the case of a double plain tile roof, introduces the force exerted by the load-bearing roofing tile into the roof substructure such that the roofing tiles covered directly by the load-bearing roofing tile and the roofing tiles covered by these roofing tiles are exposed to the risk of breakage, the invention proposes constructing the support device (10) as a carrier which can be fitted into the second row (22) of roofing tiles (24, 26) which is covered by the load-bearing roofing tile (12) and adjacent in the eaves direction. At the ridge end, the carrier transmits the force from the load-bearing roofing tile (12) directly to a second roof batten (28), on which the roofing tiles (24, 26) in the second row (22) are suspended, and, at the eaves end, to a roofing tile (36), which is covered by the tiles (24, 26), in a subsequent covered third row (32).
