Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0813918A2] The high pressure jet has a jet receiving body (4), round which there is an adjusting ring (8). The ring can be moved axially relative to the body. There is an axially spring-loaded jet body (12) inside the jet receiving body, in which there is a central passage (19,20) for the pressurised fluid and at least one bypass boring (16). The jet body is on one side against a resting surface (24) of the adjusting ring, and on the other side against that of the jet receiving body. It moves with the ring when the ring is moved, so that the endface of the jet body lifts off the resting surface of the jet receiving body and opens up passage for the pressurise fluid through the bypass boring.
