Abstract (en)
The drilling method uses a liquid binder medium which is directed on to the drilling point (26) for binding the released asbestos fibres, so that they are not dispersed into the atmosphere. The liquid binder medium can be sprayed on to the end of the drill bit via a spray jet (22) at the end of a pressurised feed hose (18) coupled to a liquid binder medium supply container (18) and clipped to the drill during use.

Ein Verfahren zum Bohren in asbesthaltigen Werkstoffen, insbesondere in Asbestzement, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein flüssiges Faserbindemittel derart zugesetzt wird, daß es während des Bohrvorgangs die freigesetzten Asbestfasern bindet, bevor es sich anschließend unter Einbindung des Bohrstaubs verfestigt. Das Verfahren wird vorteilhaft zum Sanieren eines mit Elementen aus Asbestzement (10) gedecktem Dach eingesetzt, wobei Abstandhalter (34) für eine zweite Dachschale (30) auf einer vorhandenen Dachunterkonstruktion (12) befestigt werden und hierfür die Elemente aus Asbestzement (10) durchbohrt werden. <IMAGE>
