[origin: EP0813939A1] An abrasive saw blade is provided between a tension flange (2) and spindle flange (4). One flange imprints the torque (42) through the torque connector into the shaft (5) or spindle (3) and the other flange derives from the thus driven shaft or spindle the torque through a further torque connector. The spindle flange is connected to the drive spindle and a spacer shaft is guided in the axial hollow drive spindle to transfer axial force to the tension flange and cause a change in the abrasive width. The saw blade can be in two parts with one part connected to the spindle flange and the other to the tension flange.
