[origin: EP0814209A2] A groove is milled into the work plate from the upper side to that opposite and following the edge of the installation opening (4). The filling mass is then placed in the groove and allowed to harden. By cutting out the plate waste determined by the opening the border profile of the opening edge (9) is machined by swarf removal out of the upper layer and the filling mass (6).
