[origin: WO9628990A1] An electric comb particularly suitable for disentangling and styling unmanageable hair using a plurality of oscillating teeth that are individually mounted and guided. The comb consists of a handle (10), a body (20) containing a tooth drive mechanism, a series of teeth (22) and an electric motor (12). The tooth drive mechanism is a shaft (16) rotated by the motor (12) and comprising eccentric elements (18) forming a camshaft. The second portion of each tooth comprises means whereby the teeth may be guided by the eccentric elements of the drive mechanism, which means may be forked.
