[origin: DE19603906A1] A bottle-like externally smooth plastic container (1) using the minimum quantity of material, with a collapsible outer wall (2), by means of which a liquid product may be metered single-handedly by compressing and reexpanding together with a metering aperture, in which the container (1) consists essentially of foamed plastic (3) and is at least partly jacketed in a smooth container decoration (4). In a process for producing such a container (1), a chemical blowing agent is added to a plastic (3) and the container (1) is then shaped by extrusion and finally jacketed in a smooth container decoration (4). The jacket prevents a rough outer structure.
