Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0815777A2] The main part of the armrest (2) is mounted on the column (1) by a ball-and-socket joint (8). This joint is formed by a shell part (1) of the column, and a cap-shaped part (10) on the main armrest body gripping over the shell part. The armrest body is fixed to the column by a fastening (12). This consists of an eccentric clamp and a swivel-mounted eccentric lever between reinforcement ridges.
