The lifting keel (21) of a sailing boat or yacht at least partially surrounds a fixed section of the keel (11) and can be moved in its longitudinal direction, usually vertically. The lifting keel is sub-divided by webs (23) running transverse to the direction of travel into one or several chambers (28). The fixed keel, projecting onwards from the bottom of the craft, consists of hollow sections corresponding to the number and shape of the chambers of the lifting keel. The keel shaft (4) may project upwards as far as the deck of the craft as a maximum.

Wasserfahrzeug mit Kiel, wobei ein beweglicher Kielteil (21) in seiner Längsrichtung, in der Regel der vertikalen Richtung, wenigstens teilweise gegenüber dem Wasserfahrzeug verlagerbar ist, wobei der bewegliche Kielteil, also der Hubkiel, ein festes Kielteil (11) wenigstens Teilweise umgibt. Der Hubkiel kann durch quer zur Fahrtrichtung verlaufende Stege (23) in eine oder mehrere Kammern (28) unterteilt sein und der Festkiel (11) aus Hohlprofilen (12) entsprechend der Anzahl und Formen der Kammern des Hubkiels bestehen. <IMAGE>
