[origin: EP0816555A2] The assembly for sorting textile products travelling in succession, along a conveyor path (11,20,21,24) has a sensor (18) to register differences between the separate items. The sensor is linked to an evaluation unit (35) to compare the monitoring signals with each other, and generate output signals to control direction change points (25) to divert the items (15) on to separate paths for transport.
