Abstract (en)
Air convection in structural components and emission of hazardous substances from structural components into buildings is prevented by a polyamide film on the room side of the component, pref. 10-100 mu thick, partic. 50 mu . Pref. the film is permeable to water vapour. Partic. pref. polyamide 3,4,6 or 12 or a mixed polyamide is used, and may be reinforced with integrated fibres or a backing material.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Barriere für den Einsatz zur Behinderung bzw. Vermeidung von Luftkonvektion in Bauteile und Emission von Schadstoffen aus Bauteilen, aus Nachbarräumen, dem Erdreich oder Grundwasser in Räume von Gebäuden, zum Einsatz beim Neubau, der Sanierung von Altbauten und während Umbaumaßnahmen zum Schutz von aus frisch behandelten Bauteilen austretenden Lösungsmitteln. Die Barriere soll in der Lage sein unter verschiedenen Bedingungen, variabel im Einsatz, einen Schutz des Inneren von Räumen gegen den negativen Einfluß der Luftkonvektion und gegen eventuell auftretende Schadstoffemissionen zu sichern. Hierfür wird vorteilhaft die Barriere in Form einer Folie, die auch auf einem Trägermaterial aufgebracht sein kann, ausgebildet. Das hierfür eingesetzte Material, bevorzugt ein Polyamid, soll aber auch eine gewisse Durchlässigkeit für Wasserdampf haben.
