[origin: EP0816610A2] The lock is mounted especially in the hinge of a car door, and has a cylinder housing (6) which is fixed so as to rotate with one of the door components. A cylinder core (7) is fixed so as to rotate with the other door component, and is accommodated in the housing. At least one engaging component (10) is arranged in either the housing or the core, and can be adjusted radially. The housing may also have one or more radially-aligned recesses, in order to accept the spring load which acts on the engaging component in a radial direction relative to the core.
