[origin: EP0816622A2] An all-glass safety window with triple glazing has an inner metal frame (1) for double glazing that is placed in front of an outer additional frame (2) either permanently or with a hinge using special connectors (11) and sealing material (4). The additional frame carries the third outer glass pane which is glued and also held in place mechanically (10). The connectors between the inner and outer frames use press studs, one half on each frame. The outer frame has a hole for a cartridge of moisture absorbent (6) and a drain hole (8). Between the outer pane and the outer frame is a foil to give solar protection.
