Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0816669A2] The fuel is fed from the suction chamber (13) along a feed channel (17) between the face surface of the gearwheels (7,9) and the peripheral wall of the pump chamber (3) into a pressure chamber (15) connected with the fuel injection pump. At least a filter component (26) is integrated in the housing of the fuel feed pump. In a lower area of the suction chamber (13), in front of the filter component (26), viewed in the fuel feed direction, a collection chamber (31) is provided. In a housing wall an opening is provided, leading to the collection chamber.
