The pump has a rotor (5) with radial slits (9) for holding the blades (11). A contour ring (15) enclosing the blades and forming a suction, precompression and pressure areas is designed so that the kinematic precompression is strong in a conveyor cell. The suction intake opening (21) has a widened area (33) running in the rotary direction and reducing a steep pressure rise in the precompression area (125). The widened area of the opening can be formed as a notch whose tip points in the rotary direction. The widened area extends maximum so that a separation between the intake opening and conveyor opening (29) is ensured through a conveyor cell (17).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Flügelzellenpumpe mit einem Rotor (5), der zur verschieblichen Aufnahme von Flügeln (11) radial verlaufende Schlitze (9) aufweist und der mit seinen Stirnflächen an Dichtflächen anliegt, die mit Saug- und Druckbereichen zugeordneten Ansaug- und Förderöffnungen versehen sind, und mit einem die Flügel (11) umgebenden Saug-, Vorkompressions- und Druckbereiche bildenden Konturring (15). Sie zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß die kinematische Vorkompression in einer Förderzelle größer als die gewünschte Vorkompression ist, und daß die Ansaugöffnung (21) eine in Drehrichtung verlaufende Öffnungserweiterung (33) aufweist, die einen steilen Druckanstieg im Vorkompressionsbereich (125) auf den gewünschten Wert abschwächt. <IMAGE>
