Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0816771A2] The outlet discharges hot and/or cold air into a room, being fitted in an opening (5) in the pipe wall (4). The outlet mechanism (6) is centred in the opening by holding components inside the pipe. The outlet mechanism can bear against the pipe interior surface near the opening, and can have edge strips shaped to fit against this surface. The components can consist of rings bearing against the strips, their external radius being the same as the internal radius of the pipe. Alternatively they can be formed by internal rails running in the lengthwise direction and of Z-section.
