Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0816965A1] The reference potential generator has two supplementary transistors (T4,T5) inserted between the principal transistors (T1,T2) and the current sources (I1,I2) connected in the collector circuits of the principal transistors. The bases of the supplementary transistors are connected to the base circuit of an intermediate transistor (T3), the emitters are connected to the collectors of the principal transistors and the collectors to one of the current sources. The intermediate transistor has its base connected to one of the sources of current, the collector to a supply terminal and the emitter to the bases of the principal transistors. The overall circuit forms a number of current mirror circuits.
