Abstract (en)
A casing comprises two halves of which the first (6) receives the outgoing cable and the second (7) acts to make the vampire connection on the incoming cable (1). The two halves are aligned by guide lugs and snap together by complementary feet (23) and channels (24). The plate has one or several pairs of electrically connected spikes (32, 33, 34), at least equal in number to the number of pairs of wires to be connected. The spikes themselves are coaxial and directed in opposite directions and are made integral with the plate during manufacture.

Dispositif, en particulier pour navires, de branchement rapide d'un câble d'utilisation sur un câble de ligne (1). Il se compose de deux demi-boîtiers emboîtables (6, 7) recevant chacun un des deux câbles à interconnecter, et qui emprisonnent une platine intermédiaire (8) garnie de doubles-pointes (32, 33, 34) d'interconnexion par percement d'isolant, ces pointes étant prises dans cette platine, à laquelle elles sont intégrées à l'avance, lors de la construction en usine de celle ci. <IMAGE>
