[origin: DE19602907A1] The fastening device proposed is designed for use with a fuel line (20) in the form of plastic tubing and a connecting piece (10) with, spaced along its longitudinal axis (12), several shoulders (14) which stand out from the outside surface of the connecting piece. Fitted round the end of the fuel line (20), which is pushed on to the connecting piece (10), is an elastically expandable sleeve (22) which is prevented from moving in the longitudinal direction (12) by two ridges (26) extending out from the fuel line (20). The sleeve (22) ensures a reliable seal between the fuel line (20) and the connecting piece (10), and the fuel line (20) can be attached in place by simply pushing it on to the connecting piece (10).
