Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0818255A1] The riveting jig consists of a frame (50) with a riveting assembly in the form of a lower fixed tool (30). An upper moving tool (40) is applied to the head of a rivet as its shank passes through the friction lining and plate while the fixed tool forms a locking head. The moving tool is carried by a hydropneumatic cylinder (60). The fixed one is equipped with a quartz load detector (90) connected to a monitor with an amplifier which converts the load into a voltage.
