Abstract (en)
To give a dampening action to extruded hollow aluminium profiles, for vehicle bodywork and vehicle window assemblies and the like, the hollow zones are filled with dampening materials as profiles (4) with cross section shapes (A-D) which are shaped to fit the hollow zones. They are prepared and compressed for insertion and positioning in the hollow zones. The dampening profile (4) has one or two dampening layers of a heavy polyurethane (PUR) foam flanking an inner support of an elastic polyurethane (PUR) foam.

Verfahren für das Bedämpfen von Aluminium-Hohlprofilen durch Füllung der Hohlräume mit dämpfenden Materialien, nach welchem die Hohlräume von Hohlprofilen (3) mit Dämpfungsprofilen (4) gefüllt werden. Die Dämpfungsprofile (4) werden vorfabriziert und weisen eine Querschnittsform (A-D) auf, die dem zu füllenden Hohlraum entspricht. Die Vorfabrikation erfolgt in Plattenform, von welcher dann die Dämpfungsprofile (4) zugeschnitten werden. Vor dem Einbringen in die Hohlräume werden die Dämpfungsprofile (4) komprimiert und können dann bei reduzierter Querschnittfläche in die Hohlräume geschoben und positioniert werden. Beim Rückstellen in die dekomprimierte Form liegen die Dämpfungsprofile (4) an den Hohlrauminnenwänden fest an. <IMAGE>
