Abstract (en)
The safety cap and valve actuator for an aerosol container with a vertical outlet consists of a fixed dome (12). The dome fits over the top of the container and attaches to its valve rim (40). A movable dome (14) of the same shape which has an access port (48) for the valve actuator (32). The movable dome can be rotated relative to the fixed one so that the access port is open or closed, permitting or preventing the contents of the container from being discharged. The fixed dome has a central aperture and in inner cylindrical wall (38) with a side opening for the actuator (32). It also has a stepped rim and a slot to receive the lower edge of the movable dome and a projecting lug (50) on it.

- L'objet de l'invention est un capot de sécurité pour bombe aérosol à sortie verticale, notamment pour le bâtiment et les travaux publics comprenant un corps (16) sur lequel est fixé un dôme (18) fixé par un serti (20), ledit dôme étant équipé d'une coupelle (26) dans laquelle est montée une valve (24), cette coupelle étant solidarisée au dôme par un serti (28), la valve comprenant aussi un tube diffuseur (30), ainsi qu'un diffuseur (32) permettant d'actionner le tube diffuseur par pression, qui se caractérise en ce qu'il comprend une coupole fixe (12) avec des moyens (40) de liaison sur le serti (28) de la coupelle (26) et une coupole mobile (14), de profil conjugué à celui de la coupole fixe avec une ouverture d'accès (48), et monté à rotation par rapport à la coupole fixe, cette coupole mobile pouvant prendre au moins deux positions extrêmes. <IMAGE>
