Abstract (en)
The switch has two fixed input central contacts (13A, 13B) and, for each, two fixed output end contacts (14A, 14A', 1B, 14B') and a pair of flat brushes (12A, 12B) pivoted on parallel axes at right angles to the axis of rotation of the rocker pieces (18A, 18B). The rockers are linked by a wholly straight coupler (38) which is mounted to oscillate in a slot (35) on the insulating body (11). In changeover mode, the coupler operates in two directions on each rocker and electrical connections (52A, 52B) outside the body join the output terminals concerned (16A, 16'B, 16'A, 16B). In alternating mode, it acts in two directions on one rocker (18A) and in one direction on the other (18B) and external electrical connections are made between the output terminal (16A) and input terminal (15B) concerned.

Il s'agit d'un interrupteur comportant deux balais conducteurs (12A, 12B), et, pour la commande de ceux-ci, deux entraîneurs (18A, 18B) distincts, avec, intervenant entre les entraîneurs (18A, 18B), un organe de couplage (38). Suivant l'invention, l'organe de couplage (38), qui s'étend de manière globalement rectiligne, à la manière d'une traverse, et qui est monté basculant dans sa zone médiane, est amovible et réversible et est ainsi susceptible d'être monté dans l'une ou l'autre de deux positions, l'une pour laquelle il est en prise de manière bidirectionnelle avec l'un et l'autre des entraîneurs (18A, 18B), l'autre pour laquelle il n'est en prise de manière bidirectionnelle qu'avec l'un de ceux-ci, en n'étant en prise que de manière unidirectionnelle avec l'autre.
