Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0818796A2] The temp. switch has a snap-action switch (25) with a switching spring (26) actuated by an expansion element (14). An actuation element is moved relative to the switching spring, which has an overload protection device, by the expansion element. The overload protection device contains a buffer element (38) arranged between the expansion element and the switching spring whose length can be varied by an applied force greater than the actuation force of the switching spring.
