[origin: EP0818847A2] The antenna has a metal surface (1) and a resonator element (5) in the form of an L-shaped plate mounted at a distance from the plate. A short end (5.1) of the resonator is at a first defined distance (A1) from an extension of the metal surface, and a long end (5.2) is at a second defined distance (A2) perpendicularly from the metal surface. The first defined distance is greater than the second defined distance. The gap (A2) between the long end of the resonator and inside of the metal surface may be varied.
