Abstract (en)
The connector has a common housing for a tubular plug section (7) and connecting cables (8) consisting of a lower housing part (6) with the tubular plug section formed on it and an upper housing part (5). The housing interior is a closed contact chamber (25) formed by parts of the upper and lower housing parts for connection of the cables fed into the contact chamber with the sockets of the plug section. The contact chamber, whose cable openings have sealing vanes (30) , is enclosed by a flow channel arrangement (37) which is filled with an elastic sealant under pressure to seal the joints between the housing parts.

Zündpillen-Steckverbindung für eine Kollisions-Schutzvorrichtung, insbesondere in Fahrzeugen, deren Stecker (3) aus einem Gehäuse (4) mit Gehäuseunterteil (6) und Gehäuseoberteil (5) besteht und eine Kontaktkammer (25) für die Verbindung der Klemmkontakte (15) mit den hierzu senkrecht angeordneten Anschlußleitungen (8) durch Schneidklemmen (33) aufweist. Die Kontaktkammer (25) ist von einer Fließkanalanordnung (37) umgeben, die zur Abdichtung der Kontaktkammer (25) am Trennspalt (42) zwischen Gehäuseoberteil (5) und Gehäuseunterteil (6) von der Gehäuseaußenseite her über eine Spritzöffnung unter Druck mit einer elastischen Dichtmasse (45) vollständig ausgefüllt ist. <IMAGE>
